Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: email address, plan tier, sign-in timestamps.
• Tailorings: the resume text and job description you submit, the AI-generated variants, and the judge scores.
• Visits: approximate location (country / region / city from Cloudflare), device type, browser, and a hashed IP token (we don't store raw IPs).
• Billing: handled by Stripe (US) or Lemon Squeezy (international). We never see or store your card details.

What we don't do

• We do not train AI models on your data.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not share your resume or JD content with anyone outside the AI providers strictly required to fulfill your tailoring request.

Sub-processors

• Cloudflare — hosting and edge network.
• OpenRouter — routes requests to AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek).
• Resend — transactional email (sign-in links).
• Stripe / Lemon Squeezy — billing (Stripe for US, Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record for international).

Your rights

You can request a full export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@outsmartats.com. We respond within 30 days as required by GDPR/CCPA.

Cookies

We use a single first-party cookie (oa_session) to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies. Affiliate links are clearly labeled "Sponsored" and use first-party redirects.
